My name is  and I am an analytical thinker that graduated from the with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance and Banking. I am writing you to inquire about Finance Analyst/Client Financial Management position, which I became aware of through your website.

I believe that ZS Associates would be an excellent fit for me cause of my analytical skills, ability to wear different hats, ability to work under pressure, and leadership positions. First, my analytical abilities are proven through my leadership at the University of Missouri Investment Group and my internship at  an asset management firm whose niche was investing firemen and police pension funds. Every week at the Investment Group I would present some companies that grabbed my intrigue. These presentations started off mainly qualitative; questioning the quality of product, the management, and brand identity. As the years went on, the reports progressed into more quantitative aspects. I learned how to create models based on discounted cash flow, asset based, and market multiple valuation in Excel. I then used what I had learned at school during my internship at Capital Gains. One of my responsibilities was to research and put together a presentation on my analysis of the energy sector. One of my prouder moments was when my supervisor, , used my presentation during his speech at the 2015 IPPFA MidAmerican Pension Conference. Also, since  is such a small firm, I wore many different hats. I helped accounting with data entry and performance measurement, I worked with investing to research fixed income securities, and I worked under pressure with administration to meet strict request for proposal(RFP) deadlines. Our firm even acquired a new client after one of our RFP submissions.

I am making progress towards the CFA Level I Exam, which I am scheduled to take in June. However, making monetary gains off of trades is not fulfilling to me as a career. I want to spend my career knowing that I was able to help people. With my finance knowledge and desire to help people in mind, I strongly believe that a career in consulting would best suit me. I would love to be able to use my critical and analytical thinking while making lasting connections with clients.
