I am 5^th year student at York University majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Marketing from Atkinson’s School of Business. I was extremely impressed with Deloitte’s approach to consulting after speaking to Mark Paterson. Deloitte is unique in having the ability to form diverse teams to tackle clients’ problems. As a member of the Schulich Consulting Club, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of people in varies fields of consulting and other industries. In particular, I like the amount of attention and dedication that Deloitte puts into working with its clients, not only by devising effective strategies, but also by often implementing the recommendations on-site. Therefore, I am writing to request an invitation to interview for a Business Analyst position with Deloitte.

Beyond my academic endeavors, I am a varsity starter for the YorkU Lions soccer team where my commitment to excellence, passion and hard work aided the team in winning two provincial OUA championships (2013, 2014) and one national CIS championship (2014). Backed with such honours I have learned to become successful in a competitive environment, to stay committed and think strategically. In addition to this, I developed many personal skills from involving myself in extracurricular activities. As a member of then Schulich Consulting Club I took the initiative in organizing case competitions between colleges and creating mentorship programs between upper and junior level students. Projects such as these have allowed to me significantly enhanced my leadership skills as I have had to define group objectives for a better team alignment and build trust across various entities. I am confident that all these skills will enable me to add value as a successful consultant at Deloitte.
