When I stumbled upon the position of Ops Associate at Better Mortgage, it stopped me in my tracks. This is the role I’ve been looking for! Ever since I read Simon Sinek’s Start with Why a couple of years ago, I set my sights on making a move from media to a position within the world of housing finance. A position where I could use and grow my love for analytics and guiding people through problems. I’m 100% certain that each stage of my professional experience has prepared me with both the ability and passion to truly “crush it” as an Ops Associate.

As a Sr. Analyst at Time Warner, I was a go-to resource for finding win-win solutions and balancing the needs of the advertising market, our finance department, and the Turner TV networks. Additionally, having ownership over executing all programming changes, program profitability analysis, agency spending pivot reports in excel and other various reports has instilled in me the importance of maintaining integrity of data and ensuring that the numbers behind which forecast decisions were made were accurate. Lastly, as the group between operations and sales, we were the first to consult on improving processes for commercial scheduling and pointing out bugs and inefficiencies in our many software programs for Advertising Revenue. All in all, I believe my unique background would allow me to bring a new perspective to this role and I’m enthralled by opportunity to dive in head first within the tremendously relevant field of home mortgage lending and operations while contributing to a revolutionary technology.
