I am a Masters graduate from the University College London in Material and Visual Culture, and I also have a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with Communication Studies from China. I am writing to express my keen interests towards the above mentioned position in your esteemed firm.

I am attracted to the position because I would like to explore the financial market and pursue a career in sales. My interest in finance started from studying business in China and running my own start-up company. I learnt about finance theoretically and gained experience of accounting. My interest was further developed through working at HSBC where I acquired insights into of corporate finance, and had the opportunity to work with talented people. I would love to be surrounded by like-minded people who challenge me on a daily basis at Bloomberg. Compared to banks, the flat meritocratic structure of Bloomberg encourages development and gives employees a firm grounding in many aspects of capital markets.

I worked in both online and offline sales. I enjoyed helping clients and gained a sense of achievement when I saw them satisfied. The role in Analytics gives me opportunity to deal with diverse clients at very early stage, provides the fastest route to understand products, services and market. The skills I will gain at the position will help me grow into a management role. At Bloomberg, I can help the world’s industrial leaders make an impact on changing the world. I am good fit because, through studying anthropology and psychology, I have acquired excellent research and communication skills, and have learnt to communicate through diverse approaches. Secondly, I took on responsibility for various roles such as sales, marketing and accounting when running my own business. The success of my business proved my ability of problem-solving, multi-tasking and negotiation. Coming from China I observed how technology has changed our life, it motivates to learn about technology and help business applying technology to make positive impacts on the world. Moreover, I am hard-working, goal-focused, and strive under pressure. My strong interests in financial markets and sales will encourage me to develop and pursue my ambition of becoming a professional leader in Sales.
