Dear Ms. Mary Larson,
I am searching for a position with a growing company related to the Animal Science industry.
I have a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and two years experience working in this field. My studies focused on nutrition, food and the digestion system of animals such as cattle, horses, goats, swine, poultry and sheep. Other studies focused on the reproduction and behavior of these animals along with disease control and genetics.
I have excellent research skills with the ability to use the data collected to help develop methods to produce and process meats and dairy foods safely. I also have the knowledge to recognize and identify serious diseases and the ability to check to ensure all animals are receiving the required vaccinations and proper care.
I have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with businesses and farmers to help improve living conditions for the animals and to help increase production. I have the skills to help teach farmers how to upgrade housing, reduce the risks for diseases and how to provide animals with nutritious foods.
I am physically fit and able to work in all types of environments, have a good understanding of the problems facing farmers and their animals and a real desire to make a difference. If your organization is in need of a highly motivated, dependable individual with knowledge of animal science, please call to set up an interview. I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss the details of any open positions with you along with my qualifications relevant to the job available.
My contact number is (333)-228-1033.
