I am applying for the technology leadership program. I have always been interested in Citi bank ever since my first job as my first debit and credit cards were of Citi bank and I always wondered how they work inside at technology level. I always wanted to be a part of it. So, out of my interest I checked the Citi career website and came across this opportunity. It is

A result-driven, passionate, articulate and analytical programmer and a budding leader in technology with more than 4 years of industry experience in multiple roles and organizations using a diverse set of technologies in software services. Through my work experience I gained good knowledge of business, customer handling, business requirements, software life cycles (agile, scrum), software development (both in web programming and programming in desktop applications using diverse set of technologies), maintenance and support of the existing applications (SLA Adherence). I have proven practical skills in Java, JavaScript, web development and web services. I worked through many tools and have good experience of handling teams, working independently, and customers.

My first significant tryst with programming was during my undergrad, back in 2010, when I developed a Hewlett-Packard certified project "Airline Reservation system" using Java/J2EE, mysql, jquery.

I learn very fast and have a deep penchant for problem solving. I find it very exciting to work with different programming languages,frameworks and technologies which keeps me duly motivated like I have worked in the capacity of web developer, mobile developer, CMS developer, desktop applications developer and a data scientist. I thrive on challenges and have developed strong work ethics over the years.

I gathered a genuine interest in Data Science, AI and Machine Learning during my Masters having a strong mathematics background along with being a experienced programmer as I firmly believe in the famous quote "Data scientist is someone who is better at statistics than any software engineer and better at software engineering than any statistician."

I've been very active in extra-curricular activities as I was thoroughly, part of my school and college sports team. I have volunteered in organizing various art and cultural events in my undergrad college for which I have been certified,too.I have performed as a lead singer in various events during college.
