Greeting! I’m writing to submit my resume and ask for your favorable consideration of my application for the Statistician position at comScore.

I’m a Dual Master Degree student from University of Michigan Ann Arbor, concentrating on Applied Statistics and Big Data Analysis. With multiple modeling research execution in Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) survey data analysis using SAS, anesthesiologist statewide billing data analysis, I possess a deep understanding of the statistical data analysis principles, machine learning algorithms theory, implementation, application and evaluation. Serving as a statistical consultant for University of Michigan Biology Station, I accumulated practical biological data analysis experiences in cancer research and evolutionary genomics comparison with SQL skills.

On computational side, I’m proficient in statistical data mining algorithm implementation in C++, SQL, R, SPSS and SAS. I’m competitive in multivariate data analysis, linear regression, time series data analysis, building predictive models and model selection. In addition to options, I am also familiar with Excel Pivot tables, ACCESS and relevant advanced techniques. I am also excellent in presenting results to non-technical clients. On the knowledge preparation side, I possess degrees from Statistics, Physics and Biotechnology. I have quantitative research experiences in survey data, cancer data, biotechnology and microfluidics fields.
