I am writing this letter is express my interest in a position as an analyst within the Credit Suisse Investment Banking Division; this is due to the constant growth and improved efficiency shown consistently across the division. An Example being, 24% rise in net revenues for strategic business in the 3Q14 compared with the 3Q13 and reducing Basel III risk-weighted assets by 2 Billion USD.

Client satisfaction, profitability and efficiency are the quintessential components to a successful investment banking division; Credit Suisse has combined 3 divisions (rates, foreign exchange and commodities) into a Global Macro Product Group, giving clients a holistic view of the individual asset classes, improving cost efficiency and capital gains. In addition to, improved operating efficiency due to the 1.9 billion CHF of cut costs. This involves turning ambition into reality with one eye on the long term, working for a bank with the future always in mind, is somewhere, I believe I can thrive and grow in.

I am currently doing an M.Sc. in Banking and Finance at XYZ, University of London, which I believe has given me the essential skills to work as an analyst; some of which include using C++, VBA, Bloomberg, E-views, Reuters and DataStream. In addition, having completed the Financial Trading Program Qualification and traded Commodity Futures contracts for the both the Trading and Investment Society and the M.Sc. Investment fund.
