I am very interested in the internship in Equity Research during the summer of 2017. I am a junior at Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, NJ, pursuing two bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting, while maintaining a 3.78 GPA. I have proven to be an honest hard worker as I am doing the double majors in four years, whereas the average student takes five years to complete, and simultaneously achieving an above average GPA. I am very passionate about Finance; I make sure to keep up with all the finance news along with overall business news around the World. I also follow up on the personal stocks portfolio I created for myself to see how and why stocks change, and how the outside macro economic forces affect it. Most importantly, I believe in the mission of Credit Suisse and appreciate the values that the company follows. I would be extremely happy to be part of the team in your organization.

Diversity is truly a beautiful thing and it is very close to my heart. Diversity has been a huge component of my life since I was nine years old and moved to United States from Russia. Coming from a country with almost no diversity to a country with a rich mix of cultures was absolutely life changing. I was scared I would not be included in projects and activities because I was different, and could barely speak English. This country taught me otherwise, that diversity is positive aspect of life and should be enhanced. My ultimate goal in life is to make any person I meet and work with comfortable, and teach and learn from one another, no matter the differences in our backgrounds.

At Rutgers University, my passion for diversity was strengthened as I got to work with amazing different groups for projects. Our collaboration delivered successful results due to the people with wide-ranging insights, experience, and backgrounds. My favorite team project was during my Management Skills course that is stated in my resume because we were able to fill in each other’s weaknesses and enhance each other’s strengths, and I believe because of that we delivered the superior result for the problem we were facing. Outside of school, I involve myself in extracurricular activities that include teamwork. I am an active member of the Rutgers Equestrian Team. We plan and attend weekly meetings, dedicate four hours for practices that are far away from campus, and compete in shows a few times a month. No matter the differences between all of us, we always make sure to make everything work and stay on track. Even though this sport forces us to compete against each other while simultaneously competing as a team with other Universities we support one another and help each other out. I honestly have never met such collaborative and genuine people in my life before, especially in the horseback riding industry. Diversity and inclusion are so important to me and has made me who I am today from a very young age. Credit Suisse offers me the opportunities for me to learn from their diverse population, and hopefully I can contribute my own unique skills to the team.
