I am currently pursuing my B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an anticipated graduation date of May 2017. I am applying for Daikin’s 4th internship department, for the Development of Airflow Improvement Technologies and Performance of commercial air conditioning units.

Life is a constant learning experience, which everyday provides opportunity for all of us to learn more. By becoming an engineer, this is what I hope to achieve in my life as well. Engineering helps you grow and develop your ways of thinking. Engineering opens doors to professional advancement, personal growth and other opportunities. Moreover, it is everywhere: starting from smaller things like a pin to bigger things like planes. I think that engineers are basically designers, for example- electronic engineers design circuits, given certain specifications or constraints, mechanical engineers build various machines, etc., but more importantly, they implement the design.

It feels great when little things cause a huge difference in life and manufacturing sector provides us that opportunity to build something new, innovate and make a difference. Also manufacturing offers customization which no other industry possibly can. Any change of design or fault removal can be best handled at manufacturing level. Distributing companies or Assembly companies cannot customise to create a possible innovation of any design.

My Short term objective is to do something productive and innovative in field of science with a Company so as to have an idea of advancement in field of different technology employed and to make myself aware of global competitiveness existing in current market. Daikin Provides me that Platform where I can start my career and get a chance to work between the skilled people which will help me to test my knowledge and skills acquired during my 2 years of study here and improve myself. As everyone knows, Daikin is a leading Air-conditioning company and is the global manufacturer of HVAC system. So, Daikin, in the long term, will certainly provide me the platform to work as researcher for development of different technologies as well as to expose myself to different aspects of real life technologies used in industries.

Japan is the leader in the field of Innovation and Technology. Japanese manufacturing has achieved high environmental performance, by focusing on fuel consumption in automobiles and energy consumption in household electronics which is so amazing. Also, Germany, especially its manufacturing sector, has done exceedingly well in last 5-10 years. (Also kinda like Germany: so fancy country). So, outside India, I would like to join Daikin either in Japan or Germany for a long term.
