I am sending you this cover letter and resume in regard to the position advertised on HireAggies portal. Having read the advert, I would like to apply for summer internship position of Technology Risk Consultant.

I am currently majoring in Management in Information System at Mays Business School and will be graduated by May, 2017. I am interested in this job because I love the work that would keep on my toes and provide opportunities to meet new people, collaboratively work with team, require creativity in more than one way and bring people together. This will also help me to groom myself personally as well as professionally.

I am a confident, organized, detail-oriented, and conscientious self-starter, able to strategize and prioritize effectively to accomplish multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure. I have 4.5 years of experience in IT industry. My particular skills include SQL, Java, HTML, C, PHP, ASP, ASP.Net, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Flash and Microsoft Office and using them to meet the specific commercial requirements of customers. I have also created posters for my company and college seminars and promotional eventsusing desktop publishing tool.

I have organized several survey programs, seminars, blood donation camps, scrum meetings and fests for my company and college. I have also organized flood relief camp where I was involved not only in collecting the funds from colleges and companies campus but also in directly distributing the food, water and medicine to the victims. I was the Co-Editor for my College Magazine during my under graduation (more details available on request).My responsibilities included:writing and editing articles, coordinating with my editing team and working with the magazine sponsors and advertisers.
