My name is Siddharth Garg , and I am writing this letter to apply for the Deloitte Advisory Consultant - Technology Risk Internship for the summer of 2016, as posted on the Texas A&M HireAggies website. I am currently a graduate student at Mays Business School,Texas A&M University pursuing Masters of Science in Management Information Systems.

My experience as an ERP Techno-Functional Consultant in the IT Project Delivery department at Accenture has prepared me well for this position. I assisted a Pharmaceutical company with ERP system , in which I analysed the existing client implementation of Oracle Apps and streamlined the business process that improved the operational performance of the client’s information technology system . A well thought recommendation to automatise and customize inbound and outbound data interfaces reduced manual intervention and decreased percentage of corrupt data in system by 90%.

Apart from my experience , I believe my coursework in Management Information System has allowed me to study a wide range of subjects from a global perspective while developing critical thinking and analysis skills .I can leverage my knowledge of courses such as System and design Analysis and Accounting to analyse and design information systems to solve complex business problems and inspect accounting systems to help clients grow business in a competitive world.

Consulting work exposes one to a wide variety of experiences and locations while providing the opportunity to deliver meaningful solutions to organizations. This is what I love the most about consulting, and Deloitte Advisory is an incredible chance to expose myself to a variety of experience and industries while also impacting a global organization.
