I am a University of Leeds Economics (Bsc) student who has a strong desire to pursue a career involving finance. I am on track to obtain a first in my four year degree. The reason my degree is a now a four year course is because a completed a year abroad in Germany. This was a very successful year for my development and I also achieved a high standard of Academic grades.

I believe I would be suitable for this job as I have a strong interest in the world of finance. I regularly read the Economist and keep myself informed with the recent news in the financial world. I have also developed an interest of regulation and compliance in the banking industry after learning about the subprime mortgage debt crisis of 2008. Due to my interest in finance I chose to study many finance and accounting modules outside of my economics degree in Germany. I thoroughly enjoyed studying these modules. I also believe I have a strong set of communication and leadership skills which I have developed throughout my experiences. I believe I have a large amount of integrity, as I have been entrusted as the corporate social responsibility intern of the Business school. I demonstrated professionalism when carrying out this role.

I believe I am also a quick learner who demonstrates a lot of initiative and dedication. I believe this makes me the ideal candidate to take full advantage of the high quality training on offer.
