Dear A.T. Kearney ITB Recruitment Team,
I am applying for a Research Analyst program that I knew from info session in Institut Teknologi Bandung. After talking with Mr. Anugrah Pratama regarding the environment in A.T. Kearney, job description, and challenges to face, and following the program of Crack the Case Workshop, I am inspired to contribute more to the environment by participating in A.T. Kearney. Furthermore, the idea about A.T. Kearney does not only develop into large consulting firm, but it becomes the most admired consulting firm which means that it is not only about completing a work, but also being related to the client and giving solution on what is really needed by client.
As a civil engineering student in ITB, I am required to analyze a problem and give its solution systematically. It helps me in problem solving. As an engineering student, I am also required to quickly learn new thing every day. With these qualifications, I believe that I can adapt to face the problems from the client as the research analyst in A.T. Kearney.
Besides academic skill, I also have the leadership skill by serving as head of division in ITBJazz and Himpunan Mahasiswa Sipil (HMS ITB). ITBJazz is a form of new extracurricular unit that needs encouragement and new idea for its development. As the head of human resource development, I made the first integrated program and manual books in ITBJazz to prepare the musicians in a 2015 concert. Leading a new extracurricular organization not only needs good leadership, but also creativity.
My experience of working in one of UNESCO programs also allows me to work with people from different background. In the program, I was required to work with Prof. Grimaz from University of Udine Italy, people from UNESCO, National Disaster Management Agency, NGO Build Change, Ministry of Education and Culture, and ITB. Experiencing interact with people from different background will give me added value as a research analyst.
