Prior to enrollment at U of XXX, I sharpened my financial analysis acumen and team project management skills while working at XXX. XXX is a large company with various large-scale construction and investment projects worldwide. I am certain that my motivation, academic experience and experience in the construction industry for over three years will make me the best addition to your team. Please review the following:

Financial Expertise: At XXX, I was promoted to the department of business development to create budget, determine financial performance of various ongoing projects, and build model to conduct cost-benefit and sensitivity analysis to evaluate new investment projects and strategic decisions. In the XXX program, I learned a broad range of financial expertise, comprising financial modeling, valuation and practical usage of various industrial softwares. I enrolled in the CFA program and gained a solid understanding of financial theory and financial market. I will take the Level I exam in December.

Knowledge in Construction Contracting Industry: My hugely valuable experience in the industry includes translating packages of engineering, legal, financial documents, interpreting engineering and business meetings with all stakeholders of the projects, and negotiating terms and pricing of contracts. Challenges and risks in EPC contracting project might face are completely familiar to me.
