I have an academic background in international fashion business and I have worked within the retail industry for nearly three years now. I desire a fresh challenge, to build upon the relevant skills that I have already attained and develop skills to further my career goals.

Having a sharp eye for colour and detail I am able to spot the latest trends, that I am confident, will sell at a glance. Being an excellent communicator and leader I am always willing to collaborate and work closely with others to ensure that everyone is on the same page. For instance, throughout my trend forecasting module at university, I lead a team of five individuals to produce a trend magazine on women formal and work wear. Being editor and chief I was able to gain important interpersonal skills as well as time management. I learned that through various ups and downs, hard work and initiative aways pays off.

I live and breath fashion, not only was it my choice of study, fashion is my chosen lifestyle. I regularly attend fashion shows, I read up to date publications as well as visit up and coming retail establishments to gain knowledge of whats innovative.

After studying fashion for the past three years, I am familiar with the purchasing principles and practices that are involved with retail math. I am confident that I will succeed in providing operational support to buyers and together I believe we will be able to drive sale volumes, and increase full price sell-thru objectives all while achieving the appropriate gross margin.
