Therefore, I am very interested in pursuing a fall internship position at your firm, and am writing to request an invitation to an interview.

I have previously completed an internship student-run value investment fund. Through these experiences in which I performed equity valuations, analyzed financial statements, and made investment recommendations, I have developed leadership and analytical skills and further honed my knowledge in accounting and finance. I also had the opportunity this semester to work on the finance committee at \a non-profit consulting organization. My responsibilities included creating financial statements on Excel, managing our internal budgeting process, and exploring potential business structuring options.

Given my background in finance and value investing, as well as my leadership and analytical skills, I think I am a good fit for the summer intern position at your firm. I am very interested in the current portfolio and the significant responsibilities given to interns, and I look forward to joining and contributing to your firm.
