At the University of East Anglia, I took courses about probability, stochastic calculus and option pricing where I learned various financial models and quantitative methods used in the finance industry. Even though I was a student of business school, I was ranked as one of top students in the classes of further mathematics and further financial mathematics. For the last summer, I have interned as an equity research analyst at the Da Nang securities company. In this capacity I conducted an extensive analysis on macro and micro economics and made buy/hold/sell recommendations on those companies that fulfilled a low risk/high return discipline. As a result, I recognized the difference between the mathematics and finance allowing me making the financial models more practical.
