I am writing to express my interest in the Rehabilitation Aide position within the MCR Rehab Support department.

As a student of the health sciences, with a deep passion for pursuing a career in healthcare, I am looking to obtain a position that will provide for an extensive amount of direct patient care and insight into the workings of a prominent health organization. Receiving my education at Colorado State University I am consistently pleased to hear of the national recognition Poudre Valley Health System receives year after year. I am furthermore pleased by the chance to take advantage of employment and education opportunities from an organization renowned for its excellent staff and service; all of which are so close to home.

Currently, I am earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in sports medicine. Throughout my time at CSU I have experienced numerous semester hours of exercise and biology related coursework. In recent years, I have completed courses in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and medical terminology to name a few. As a result of my education I bring a strong foundation on which to build medical knowledge as well as an enthusiastic work ethic that will thrive in the active and challenging position that is the rehabilitation aide position.

In addition to my education, and as an individual focused on eventually furthering my education through a health related professional program, I have made it a point to experience numerous hours of observation and volunteer work. Through these volunteer and observation experiences I have made a passionate attempt to familiarize myself with the values of patient care and the dedicated work it takes to be a healthcare professional.

While I believe my strong background in biomedical science and sports medicine have provided me the knowledge and skills to be an excellent candidate for the rehabilitation aide position, I also believe there is a unique attribute that I possess - I am committed to acquiring experience, knowledge, and insight in order to develop my passion and future career. I look forward to the challenges of the Rehab Aide position and am determined to succeed for both PVHS and myself.
