As you will note from my enclosed CV, I obtained an upper second class degree in Business at Birkbeck College, University of London. Further, I have additionally completed the Accounting and Finance Master’s Programme at Cass Business School. I have achieved the IFRS accounting standards certificate thus further aiding my ability to deploy understanding and clarity of IAS accounting standards and individually focused modules and projects. My current intention of studying for an ACCA qualification shows my intent to not just developing myself but at the same time applying knowledge acquired to your company.

I have previously completed an internship programme at Strategic Change Management Consultancy as an Accounts Assistant. Through this experience working closely with client needs, analysing financial statements and making suggestive progression advice, I developed both critical and initiative skills and honedmy knowledge of accounting and finance. While working at SCMC, I assisted the accounting team in researching various financing options for the company. I developed a keen interest in understanding the process of possessing a core financial driver to spur business growth through an effective business model. I am highly motivated in Accounting and Finance, particularly wanting to understand the thought process behind a successful financing or M&A transaction to continue to drive value and growth to companies. I enjoyed the significant responsibility and commitment provided by the shadow position. I relish the opportunity to further my skills and abilities to deliver actionable, data-driven conclusions in order to produce greater efficiencies and cost savings and most importantly to produce results that carry weight and impact.
