I would like to apply for Fund Management (Technology) Internship because it is research-driven which will open up a new opportunity to develop theoretical concepts and knowledge among highly professional team. In this globalized world, with intense and emerging competition, being versatile and proactive is a necessity, equipping with a firm which is focused on competitiveness will provide me an edge in my career startup.

Besides that, I’m keenly involved and interested in asset and portfolio management related course in University, and my thirst for it has driven me to choose an internship which furnishes and allows me to implement theoretical concepts into practical work. I chose GAM because it’s a leading independent pure-play asset managers, who has unmatched autonomy as a conglomerate compared to others. Its past performance records reveal that it is competitive, and its approach to changes shows its adoptability, so working in a firm that is consistent and versatile will provide a platform to learn a great deal from.

I feel I should be hired for this position because I fulfill almost all the requirements required in a candidate. I have a solid knowledge in this specified area, which will be an asset for GAM. I have ECDL certification, which means i’m proficient at MS office suit. Besides that, my constant efforts to improvise, stay up to deadlines, doing my best in everything I get acquainted with, will make me a suitable candidate for this internship.
