During my undergraduate studies at the XYZ, I had actively taken steps to learn about business and finance by undertaking a variety of modules ranging from Strategy to Economics and Finance. As a constant learner both inside and outside of the classroom, I believe in the importance of applying learned theories and skills through the participation of extra-curricular activities; namely, being selected to participate in a XYZ XYZ XYZ. My belief in practicality has also led me to experience a 6-week long, rotational internship at XYZ Group in 2012. During my internship, I was able to experience the various nuances of client-facing roles first-hand, as well as learning from the different experiences of senior employees. Furthermore, my present studies at XYZallow me to analyze Economics and Politics through an interdisciplinary approach; a very unique opportunity which has helped me to hone my critical and analytical skills, as well as widening my perspectives and knowledge beyond my background in business.
