Second, as a Summer Associate at Macquarie Capital’s Industrials / Consumer Retail group I developed strong financial analysis skills. For example, over the course of the summer I worked on four live deals and drafted industry research reports for pitch materials in the Consumer Retail, Paper & Packaging, Diversified Industrials and Chemicals industries. Within Chemicals, I worked on the buy-side of a $150MM M&A sell process for a supplements producer, which honed my interest in the segment. Finally, as a member of the Dominican Republic’s brokerage license restructuring team, I further honed my financial, technical, and organizational skills. I believe that my ambition, leadership, and finance skills will help me add value to Houlihan Lokey from week one.
