I am submitting this letter to express my interest in interning at your company during the summer of 2010. I’m currently doing an exchange program at as part of my 3d year as undergraduate in Business Administration at the .
I would like it if you could dedicate 3 minutes to read the following summary about my main skills and motivation.
My interest in your institution relates to:
-‐My interest in Private Banking sector, as it involves passion for Financial Markets, but also communication skills to
deal with clients.
-‐My interest in HSBC, as a successful International Bank. Also, I specially valued what I learnt during the “r” session about the internship experience at HSBC: job content, responsibility working in a motivated team and future opportunities.
I could summarize my main skills as follows and provide you with recommendation letters for the different
competences upon request:
-‐Natural ability to relate and understand a variety of profiles, from children (as an example, the au-‐pair experience that I had in Connecticut a few years ago or the lessons I’ve given to children) to old people (my volunteering for the elderly during two semesters in years 2009-‐2010).
-‐An international mindset: I have travelled to more than 20 countries so far, trying to get the most of my trips and learning about other cultures. At the University, I’m enjoying and learning from the international experience day by day.
-‐Proved networking and leadership skills, gained at several extracurricular activities: as a participant in a Summer Course that I took in Princeton University in 2009; my current experience as an external relations delegate at ; as member of my secondary School’s board, representing all the students.
I have come to because I wanted to study at one of the top universities in Finance, but also because I knew that this was a great opportunity to achieve a closer relationship with top banks and rounded professionals.
