POSITION:

investment banking

Dear Sirs,

My name is Alessio Agricola, I am 25 years old and I am an engineer.

I achieved the bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic of Bari; I completed the Nuclear and Energy Engineering Master of Science at the Polytechnic of Turin in March 2012, I directed my learning plan in energy technology, specializing in industrial and domestic heating technology and in thermal power plant and renewable energy.

My most exciting training experience concerns an internship of 6 months carried out at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in the Department of Energy, where I realized a thermodynamic and exergo-economic analysis of the EEM, a trigeneration emergency energy module, a project of the SELECT programme in KIC InnoEnergy.

Actually I’m working in an Italian electric company, Energrid SpA, in the sector of Procurements Portfolio and investments solution; The main activities that I’m performing are the development, planning and management of investment in CHP power plants, district heating and renewables technology. I’m doing energy management activities like energy audit and I make analysis and optimization of power portfolio.

I think my studies have provided me a suitable preparation to cover with enthusiasm the position in your company as part of energy system field, topics of numerous courses and projects while attending university.

The international experience has strengthened my ability to work in teams and provided me a sufficient knowledge in the management of energy processes and experiences between different thermoelectric plant and renewable energy resources: I have worked particularly with cogeneration system and solar, wind and biomass powered systems.

During my work activities I frequently investigated the design development of energy systems, enhancing my skills in simulation, planning and optimization of complex processes.

The period spent abroad also increased my fluency in English.

I suggest briefly what I believe are my strengths:

  • Problem solving
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Persistence and application
  • Ability to synthesize and present data
  • Hoping for your feedback,

Thank you for your attention and your time.

    Best regards,

    Alessio Agricola
