POSITION:

businss analisrs

Dear Sir/Madam,

I take pleasure in enclosing my application for the trainee management accountant position in London.

A career in accounting offers me an opportunity to work in a challenging and a fast paced environment. During my university experience, I have thoroughly enjoyed analyzing complex business challenges as a part of different modules, such as international accounting, financial accounting and management accounting. I find accounting and finance very exciting and intriguing, as it is one of the few areas, which is open to multiple interpretations. Working in this role will give me an opportunity to dig deeper into the numbers and offer valuable insights to the clients. I find accounts as a cog at the centre of the wheel. Thus, I firmly believe that by pursuing a role in accountancy I will get exposure to different aspects of business organizations, which will help me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial world. Lastly, as a part of this role, I will get a chance to work with clients from a wide range of industries, get exposure to a variety of challenges and pursue ACA qualification to further enhance my skills.

I am really keen on working with Conde Nast because of three reasons. Firstly, in Conde Nast the basis of business is relationship. It is constantly looking to bring valuable insight to its clients by digging to the core of their client’s need. Employees have a very approachable, down-to-earth, and a friendly attitude. I believe this will help me to immerse in the firm’s environment quickly and make contributions from day one. Secondly, Conde Nasts’ size gives it a unique positioning in the market – big enough to take any challenge, yet with a personal touch where employees are treated as individuals and encouraged towards originality and ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking. I believe this will exploit my untapped potential and bring the best out of me. Lastly, most of Conde Nast clients are dynamic, fast moving, and fast-growth companies. I believe challenges and learning opportunities here are truly unique compared to its competitors, as I will get a chance to work with businesses at the most exciting stage of their development.

My previous experience at Ernst and Young and Barclays have helped me appreciate the challenges of business organizations, importance of managing customer expectations and understand the synergy created when solid financials are coupled with a premium brand. Furthermore, I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people. My amiable, humble and friendly nature will help me to establish a good rapport with my colleagues and client’s representatives. My ability to develop strong relationships with people will help me to have enriching discussions with my team and with the client, which will help me to develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ operations and spot value for adding opportunities. I also come across as a very versatile person who is willing to learn new things and is open to new types of opportunities and challenges. This will help me to respond well to changing circumstances and come up with lasting solutions for the clients. I firmly believe that this diverse portfolio of skill along with my ability to think ‘out of the box’ will help me to succeed in Conde Nast.

I have enclosed my resume for your consideration. I would be happy to meet with you at your convenience and discuss how my background will suit your needs
