Statement of Purpose

As I joined abc as a Manager, I gained an understanding of business operations, quality systems and root cause analysis, something not taught in our books, but far more real and practical in approach.

Daily operations, daily job management, material management & manpower planning for the various activities on SAP tool initially sounded mundane, but the challenges it brought along were immense and interesting.

During the tenure I lead a team of 13 technicians for implementation of reliability and quality initiatives and day to day activities. I acquired immense knowledge from their 20-25 years of experience, and understand how to tackle with union leaders and individuals far older than me.

Also My 6 months exposure of working with @#^# as an Intern, was an enriching experience, wherein i was involved with a real time ,large scale project , as the team saw my interests in learning and understanding the intricacies of the system.

As I joined xxx,  what struck me ,during my core courses was the concept of value driven marketing approach adopted today by numerous organizations, and realized how a small step or function makes huge changes in your top line. Our Dean mentions- “Be distinct, or be extinct”. This makes me realize the challenge an organization faces today, in giving back to customers, more than he expects , so as to delight and engage the customer for a long term relation.
