I am writing to express my strong interest in the Tax Staff position with Armanino LLP. I recently had the pleasure of meeting a recruiter at San Francisco State’s Meet the Firms on February 18, 2016. I found our conversation was very informative and I was encouraged to submit my resume for your consideration.

I am a Senior at San Francisco State University and expect to graduate in May 2016 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Accounting. I will complete my studies with 150 semester units that will allow me to obtain my license after completing the CPA exam and required experience.

At San Francisco State, I have participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Participation in VITA was a great experience for me because it allowed to better appreciate the importance of the services that CPAs and tax professionals provide to their clients. Understanding the needs of my VITA clients helped me to strengthen my communication and problem solving skills.

I feel that I have grown tremendously over the last four years as I have worked hard to successfully balance studying, working, and maintaining my commitment to community service. I am also looking forward to continue learning and growing as a tax professional.
