Sample cover letter for Internship position at l'oreal
marketing intern
Having had the chance to expose myself to different sets of cultures, I started to realize the possibilities to challenge the status quo, be bold and conquer the impossibilities. My interaction with a group of exchange students during our trip to China helped me evolve into an adventurous and daring person. I believe that this is at the core of the GBUS programme and the main reason why I wish to join the programme.
Echoing with the ideologies of the program, the Global Business program would be an inevitable step I take for my undergraduate studies- to become a part of this multicultural family, to explore my leadership potential, to develop my critical thinking through case analysis and to take more initiatives to break through my limits.
Inspired by Confucius, I see knowledge is a treasure of the human race. However, to make this treasure my own asset, practice is the key. In pursuit of a broader horizon, I took initiatives to step out of the classroom and worked as a part-time financial advisor. Interacting with different ambitious leaders during my work, such as a young entrepreneur, a business coach, as well as the Secretary of the Philippine Embassy, has broaden my exposure, my ambitions and my determination to never surrender to challenges. One of the greatest advantages about the business world is to exchange innovations, learn from challenges and think in wider perspectives. Therefore I am highly motivated to join GBUS which provides the perfect platform to share my ideas and experiences among these dynamic and diversified students.
Furthermore, I had a rewarding experience of being a house captain leading 400 members and getting 8 consecutive championships during high school. Working as a team, I have learnt to maintain cohesion amongst members with wide diversity of interests by motivating my fellows with confidence. Knowing that GBUS can provide numerous opportunities for networking and learning from different business leaders, I aspire to have my leadership skills more fully polished if I am to be admitted to the programme.
I believe in the idealism of Martin Luther King, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase,” I just cannot wait to take more first steps in realizing my true self and understand what I can contribute to make a change.
I am looking forward to the interview and sharing my encounters with you!
