Dear Hiring Manager,

I’m reaching out in regards to my interest in applying for the Junior Business Analyst position. With my skill-set and my insatiable appetite to learn I am more than able to assist Lafayette 148 in achieving their long-term technical and business objectives.

I started my career in information technology in high school. I went to a career and technical school where I had the opportunity to learn a vocation. I chose computer repair, because I was always fascinated by the intricacies of computers. During this time, I learned how to assemble computers. I also honed skills in troubleshooting printers, networks and computers running windows. Upon graduation I took a certification test to become a CompTIA A+ technician.

While pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems from Brooklyn College, I have developed skills in programming and management. This knowledge has enabled me to write programs in several languages in an object oriented manner, as well as maintain databases using SQL. In addition, I’ve gained an understanding of the life cycle of a project by outlining project scopes, timelines and navigation of inevitable problems that arise to meet deadlines by applying problem solving methods. With the knowledge I’ve gained, I believe that can make a significant contribution to Lafayette 148.

I recently graduated from Brooklyn College where I was able to further strengthen my technical and business acumen. I have attached my resume highlighting my academic and professional skills and look forward to hearing from you in due course.
