Since graduating with both distinctions in digital and Web Design at Hove College in 2008 , I have worked in both a freelance and voluntary capacity in order to build relevant experience. In my spare time I have worked as a voluntary freelance graphic designer in order to utilise my skills and gain relevant experience.

My recent design work for a company called `Clearanail ( see clearanail.com) was shown at the The Society for Chiropody and Podiatry Show in Liverpool in 2014 as part of their initial product launch. This then attracted the attention of the largest healthcare distributers in the country, Algeos, which offered them a significant financial and distribution deal to manufacture and distribute their product. Since then `Clearanail ‘ has become an international success and become the most effective fungal nail treatment in today’s market.

Prior to this I participated in an Internship for a sports development company in Alnwick and assisted their marketing team in helping to deliver a coherent brand identity for a new range of innovative fishing products. As part of my responsibilities I learnt a how to use a 3D modelling and animation package called `Hypermove’ to produce a series of bespoke 3D animated presentations and packaging examples for their product launch.

The work I had produced was eventually featured at the European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition (EFTTEX) in Paris 2012as part of their marketing strategy which enabled them to be nominated and win both Innovation of the Year and Best New Product Award 2012. This also helped them to secure a significant distribution deal and generate media and PR exposure to their brand of devices.

I have a good knowledge of Adobe Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and are familiar with working with both MAC and PC platforms. I have a proactive and positive approach to my work with the ability to work as part of a team and on my own initiative with the ability to communicate effectively to both staff and clients at all levels.

In addition to my academic qualifications and prior experience. I also believe that my CV exhibits strong potential for further accomplishments within the design industry. For these reasons, I feel I would be make a good asset to your team during my time at Paladone and would be a brilliant opportunity to gain commercial experience.
