Sample cover letter for Internship position at loreal

POSITION:

business analyst

Dear Hiring Manager:

I am writing to apply for the Technology Product Management Intern position (ID 165826BR) that was posted on LinkedIn. I am interested in this position because I enjoy working with technology and want to learn more about product lifecycles. Disney has been a heavy influence in my childhood—whether it was semiannual visits to Disneyland, animated motion pictures, or music and soundtrack recordings—and I would like to be a part of the company that brings it all to life.

I interned most recently at The Iconic, an Australian online-based fashion house. Through my customer relationship management (CRM) internship, I worked with various technology programs and platforms, including Microsoft Office, Google Spreadsheets and Analytics, Experian CCMP, and Webtrekk. Although I did not have experience in some of the marketing analytics platforms, I had to learn quickly in order to create accurate reports for weekly analysis. I would bring my ability to pick up new technologies to the Walt Disney Studios and fulfill my job assignments.

The skills that I bring to this position include excellent written and verbal communication skills. From my years as a private tutor of students ranging from elementary school to high school and group projects at Boston University, I have learned to adapt my work and communication style in order to bring the best out of individuals and the team. These skills, combined with my past work experience, make me a good fit for this opportunity.
