Even though Mazars is a globally known and one the world's largest accounting firms, the personal attention and dedication to clients that the firm adopts attracts me. Spending the time to understand client's perspectives and priorities is the key to great customer services as it shows passion and care into delivering value by developing individual talents and strengths. The community environment created internally and externally generates a unique system encouraging new ideas, I feel very strongly about working on a daily basis with people of a hard working and family like ecosystem. Furthermore, the company’s global community and how prioritising positive contribution to society and global citizenship has been a direct reflection of superior and compassionate service to clients.

I have chosen the Banking consulting training scheme because I have a genuine interest and desire to not only gain a broad understanding of the banking sector and the market dynamics but to thrive at the opportunity in using my various creative and lateral skills in consulting projects across each of Mazars service areas. I believe I am a driven individual and an exceptionally high achiever who can excel and bounce ideas of team members in various scenarios, such as team presentations and diagrammatic models. I enjoy the idea of pioneering and presenting different recommendations and to demonstrate flexible and creative skills in implementing them where possible.

As a biomedical student I am sure I can bring unique and exciting qualities to such a firm instead of just ticking all the boxes. There are various connections between basic research in applied science in the private sector, where value is judged on the basis on scientific publications and debates I see myself as a talented problem solver in a different work environment where the new challenges and daily grind is intellectually stimulating and catalytic. The hands on, analytical and proactive approach developed through laboratory work ensures thorough investigative and detailed service mentality can be applied.

One-to-one connections with each other from different backgrounds are the foundations to change; requiring caring relationships based on trust understanding and shared goals. It is through understanding my friends cultures that I became more aware of my own, the conscious decision to establish these friendships regardless of the societal forces to separate us have built relationships strong enough to achieve community goals and solve common problems. I am an active individual and enjoy becoming part of new organisations such as sports, education and cultural societies where I have met people of cultures other than my own, this has made me aware of the misinformations acquired around certain races, religions and traditions and how to combat them constructively. Reading up and conversing with people about their histories shows compassion and respect to take the time to find out about them, making it easier to make genuine friendships.

I believe I try to demonstrate and practice high moral principles both professional and social standards on a daily basis. Particular instances, in which I believe I do so, include recognising I am a role model for my younger siblings and relatives urging me to be consistent and clear about our ethical standards through my actions such as following the laws of the land, obeying my elders and the courageous effort to be the person I am destined to be. I know I'm not perfect, so when I do mess up I am responsible for my mistakes.
