I am a second year undergraduate student studying Business and Management. I am writing this letter to apply for a position of Credit Risk summer analyst at Morgan Stanley. My previous placements and work experience have well equipped me with a multitude of skills and would like to enhance them at your company. As I progressed independently, I gained my first work experience in a financial environment whilst in high school. While working at the Risk and Fraud department at PaymentSense in London, UK’s largest merchant services provider, I was shown how credit risk analysis provides extensive exploration to, firstly, avoid and then deal with potential fraud that may damage both the customers and the company. I became aware that analytical precision, as well as critical thinking is vital to an organization’s impact on customer protection and loyalty; aspects that Morgan Stanley places great importance on.

Furthermore, my skills in communication have aided me greatly when it comes to understanding financial matters on a global scale. I speak four languages fluently: French and English and have participated three years at international Model UN conferences often contributing in the Economic Council. Demonstrating a diverse background, both personally and professionally, as well as combining it with my dedication and hard work, will prove to be beneficial while working in a high paced, creative and global environment.
