It is with much excitement that I write to you today in regards to the Operations Summer Analyst Internship position which was posted on Tuesday, May 20^th. Morgan Stanley since it was founded in 1935 has focused on helping fund companies which eventually leads to not only to the financial success of these firms but also to social goodness. The Code of Ethics of Morgan Stanley goes right along with some of the values I believe in, one of them being treating others with dignity and respect; I’ve had a lot of experience with many different ethnic groups throughout college and my past jobs, meeting others and learning about their culture is certainly one of the things I enjoy doing.

Throughout college I managed to become a very involved student while maintain good grades. Some of the activities that I became involved with were Student Government as the Budget Director and being a Student Ambassador for Admissions; both positions were leadership positions on campus which allowed me to sharpen my leadership skills and my communication skills to a very high level. While I held these positions I was able accomplish some great milestones, first the admissions office increased enrollment by 46% for the 2011-2012 school year and serving as the chair for the budget committee for SGA I was able to propose a $140,000 endowment which will provide more jobs for students on campus forever.

My analytical and problem solving skills were developed during my time as the Budget Director for the Student Government Association during the 2013-2014 school year. I handled a budget of over $500,000 from where 60 plus clubs and organizations at my school SUNY Canton and also different on campus entities that the student government supported were funded. My personal goal was to be able to provide everyone who had any concerns about their accounts with great service and transparency about SGA budget.

I’m a strong believer of hard work and dedication and putting my all into everything that I commit to. I have a very competitive mind, I believe that this gives me an edge over a lot of people because everything that I do, I do it not just to do it but I strive to be the best I can be at it. Joining the Morgan and Stanley team of passionate professionals and smart group of interns would be a wonderful career opportunity for me that I would take full advantage of and will devote all my efforts to perform at a very high level.
