Sample cover letter for Internship position at morgan stanley

POSITION:

finance analyst

Dear Morgan Stanley Recruiter,

My past summer internship with J.P Morgan Chase provided me with valuable experience in Investment Banking Operations. The role as a summer analyst in the Credit Portfolio Group, which manages the credit risk of the entire Investment and Commercial banking groups within J.P Morgan, diversified my skill set as we navigated through a challenging credit environment.

This valuable experience, paired with a passion for Finance and an insurmountable desire to learn & grow will make me a perfect fit for the analyst position in the Global Wealth Management Group of Morgan Stanley. My hard skills have vastly improved over the summer. I am comfortable working in a fast paced environment and I have gained a great familiarity with regularly used programs like Microsoft Excel and Access.

I take a great deal of pride in my willingness to improve daily. Great strides have been made academically due to my ambitions to improve on past performance. This is evident in my increase in G.P.A from a 3.2 to a 3.5 since joining the Whitman School of Management in the fall of 2006. This habit to prosper will translate too many years of success, if given the opportunity to begin my career with Morgan Stanley.

Attached along with the cover letter is my resume. I would like to sincerely thank you for taking precious time to evaluate my credentials. I am confident that I can be a valued asset to Morgan Stanley. I look forward in hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Ahmed Madry
