Sample cover letter for Internship position at morgan stanley

POSITION:

quantative analyst

I would like to be considered for the position of Firm Risk Management Summer

Analyst for the Morgan Stanley, which I read on the Rutgers CareerKnight website. I

am currently a graduate in Mathematical Finance program at Rutgers University.

Throughout the four fruitful years of study in Southwest Jiaotong University, the

double majors in Automation and Finance provided me with a daily boost to

fascination of quantative finance. My prior role as a Derivatives Analyst Intern in

Huatai Securities required me to conduct research and utilize statistical models on a

daily basis. During the internship, I self learnt related trading rules and possible risk

exposures, constructed a quantative strategy achieving a 68.05% annual return.

Besides excellent analytic skills, my experience as the former Vice President of

Chengdu Feidan Cultural Communication Company greatly strengthened my

management capability. I successfully contributed to the rapid development of our

company, achieving monthly increasing business income by more than 22%.

Enclosed please find a copy of my resume, which demonstrates my leadership,

analytical and writing skills. I look forward to hearing from you. You can reach me at
