Sample cover letter for Internship position at morgen stanley

Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently started studying for my bachelors degree in Business Administration at XXX and I am writing to express my interest in taking part at the Summer Internship. My strong desire to be part of Morgan Stanley make me a strong candidate for this programme.

My main reason for applying for the Summer Internship is because of my experience at an insight programme at XXX last summer. I was impressed by a YouTube talk delivered by XXX, an Associate at Morgan Stanley in XXX. 

My motivation for applying to Morgan Stanley specifically, originated from their globally sophisticated reputation as one of the leading and most prestigious banks. The long track record and specific industry knowledge have led Morgan Stanley to the top position in the Investment Banking league tables.

Through my extracurricular activities as a XXX I feel comfortable in a performance-oriented environment and can work well under pressure. This, coupled with an array of leadership experience as coach and supporter has taught me the importance of team work.
