Dear NBC Universal Internship Program,

I am writing to express my interest in the Cable Entertainment Spring 2017 Internship that I found on the NBC Career Paths website. I am a third year student at Ithaca College pursing my Bachelor of Science in Television-Radio with a minor in Communication Management and Design. I believe my skills, past experience, and strong interest in production management, development, and casting makes me a well qualified applicant for this internship.

As you can see in the enclosed resume, my media experience ranges from international television programs, studio, and field production. While working in these departments, I’ve had the opportunity to cast actors, develop our production, and manage all three production stages. I’ve been apart of Ithaca College Television since my freshman year where I held several crew positions. I am currently the Line Producer, Segment Producer, and Assistant Producer on three different shows. I am able to manage and assist with pre-production and working along with the crew. I’ve also worked as the Producer and Casting Director for short films. I’ve had the opportunity to oversee every aspect of the production as well as host casting, select actors, and schedule rehearsal dates.

I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss skills, past experience, and strong interest for Cable Entertainment and how I can be a great contribution towards the Cable Entertainment Spring 2017 Internship Program.
