Dear Recruiting manager,

I am a third year mechanical engineering student at the America university of Beirut. I was extremely impressed with Oliver Wyman’s recruitment presentation at my university held on the 22^nd of September, where the Wyman team presented us with some interesting facts about the work they do, the projects they are working on, the values and traits the Wyman company looks for in its employees.

Oliver Wyman is definitely a leader in the consulting market with a dedicated and diverse team with broad talents able to tackle any problem a client might have. Oliver Wyman clearly values academic achievements, and also looks for people with an interesting and impactful life outside of the classroom. While collage life takes up most of my days I still find time to peruse my passions which include, researching the current advances in nanotechnology mainly Nano-robots and computer ships, and reading about wildlife in the different parts of the world, that is because I strongly believe that we should be looking at nature for inspiration while trying to solve difficult engineering problems.

And from tutoring I learned, it is important to be creative and find new ways to relay the information you have, because inaccessible information is not useful to anyone. Finding an easy system to follow to solving a problem or memorizing data, will help minimize work needed and maximize profits.

I am excited by the strong potential fit I see with Oliver Wyman, and by impact Wyman has on the wide range of industries it is working in, and the significant international opportunities it offers. I am particularly interested in a consulting internship because of the wide range of potential projects, and the steep learning curve that comes with such position. It is simply the best way to learn, and gather as much information as possible in a relatively short period of time.
