I am currently a student at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (India), pursuing a Dual (B.Tech & M.Tech) degree in Industrial engineering and Management, due to finish in May 2015.Over the last 23 years Parthenon has proven itself to be a top data-driven advisory boutique firms in the world with a strong customer-focused approach incorporating collegiality, hard work and excellence in its culture. I want to be a part of that culture.

During my stay at university, I worked on optimization of supply chain and reverse logistic situations to develop low cost solutions. As you will see in my resume, in addition to meeting the demands of a full-time academic schedule, I led a team to address the issues plaguing Indian food security system and thus developed an end-to-end policy framework and map-based online monitoring system to improve reach and efficiency of staple food and kerosene distribution system affecting 373 million poor people, and was invited to a national forum chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. In recent times I developed a keen interest in portfolio management and was mentored by world-renowned researcher Dr. Duan Li, a pioneer in the field of optimization, financial engineering and decision-making methodologies. I am recently working on developing a low-cost index fund tracking CNX Nifty 50 as part of my master thesis. I have qualified Exam P offered by Society of Actuaries, U.S.A and appearing for Exam FM in upcoming spring semester. As the case study captain of my hall of residence, I got an opportunity to reflect on my long persistent belief of data-driven work and my team was judge 4^th out of 21 competing halls at IIT Kharagpur. I am also a member of committee of 11 students delegated by Technology Students’ Gymkhana to structure and formulate the rules and regulations of the novel Data Analysis inter-hall event My internships at Wallfort Financial Services and Tata Consultancy Services imparted me a rich corporate experience amalgamated with brilliant work professionalism and helped me learn deliver superlative results within deadlines. I also possess hand-on programming experience with Matlab and R to complement my modelling skills.
