verilog programmer
Having done an exhaustive and inspiring course in Electronics and Communication Engineering, I would like to strengthen my academic proficiency by pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY. Thus, I would like to further explore the issues that I confronted during my undergraduate study. Since my childhood, I have always been determined to scale the highest peaks in my desired field of interest. As such, I believe that pursuing this graduate program would head me towards my goal.
Ever since my primary school days, I have always been a merit student with special inclination for mathematics and science.I passed my final year exams with an aggregate of 91.5%, which placed me as the second topper of the school. My exceptionally good scores in mathematics (100%) and science (99%), made my choice of the major MPC (mathematics, physics and chemistry) quite obvious at my intermediate level, where I scored an aggregate of 94.6%.
The extent of automation being achieved by various electronic devices initially triggered my interest for electronics. Having chosen Electronics and Communications Engineering as my major for undergraduation, I was later intrigued by the accomplishments of the latest signal processing techniques in the field of telecommunications. An industrial visit to the regional telecom centre-BSNL (Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited) during the third year of study, heightened my interest in topics like modulation techniques, spread spectrum, interconnection networks and switching techniques. This interest led me to choose the same place for undergoing industrial training in switching and broadband networking, which I am currently attending.
Apart from signal processing, embedded systems is another area which holds my special interest with the numerous projects I have done related to microcontrollers and microprocessors. These projects range from design of simple electronic code lock control system, security alarm etc, to antenna control systems involving several modules and driving circuits. The project ’DISH (antenna) POSITION CONTROLLING USING RF’, done at NSIC (National Small-Scale Industries Corporation) introduced to me several issues related to wireless communications. The main scope of the project is to control the dish antenna from a remote area. This short stint has given me invaluable practical experience and has kindled in me the desire to do research
