Please find enclosed my CV in application for a role in business consulting at Moorhouse.

Having experienced working with clients on launching and positioning blockbuster drugs in the pharmaceutical sector, I am looking to move into a role where I can apply the skills I have learnt in my current role to other industries. The chance to take on different challenges on each project whilst working with leaders in their fields excites me and leads me to want to work in a consulting firm. The opportunity to work as a consultant at Choorhouse is a chance to work within a respected company with a flat structure, learning from senior managers immediately. This allied with Choorhouse’s focus on a positive team environment demonstrated by their quarterly escapes will enable me to reach my potential and make the most of this fantastic opportunity well and become an asset to the company.

In my current position I have displayed many of the attributes required to succeed in a fast paced, challenging environment. I have used analytical skills and ability in software packages such as excel and SPSS to produce logical, innovative solutions to strategic challenges. These include conducting research to identify the patient segments that can be targeted to maximise revenue for drugs in development. I have also worked with the team managing the world’s second biggest selling drug, investigating the reasons for its declining market share. As the first point of contact to clients on my project teams I have taken the initiative and proactively monitored progress to anticipate problems whilst communicating with clients to ensure that any recommendations are addressing the key issues.

I have especially enjoyed my current role when working under pressure where I have proven that I can maintain a positive attitude. This has helped me to engage with colleagues in diverse, cohesive teams to deliver the best possible results to our clients. The experience designing innovative outputs and clearly communicating the results of global projects has given me a skill set and attitude that would allow me to succeed in a within Choorhouse.
