I am writing to express my interest in a summer internship at Sunway. I learned of your summer intern position through the FeatureConnect with Sunway event last Saturday( 29^th of March) in Imperial College London. I am intrigued by the Sunway’s long term strategy with the unique build-own-and-manage (BOM) model to create self-sustained developments in Iskandar corridor in Johor. Thus, I am enthusiastically applying for an operation internship based in Iskandar corridor in Johor to assist in all that the assigned project manager will be involved in.

I am currently doing my year 1 Civil Engineering(MEng) in University College London. The projects I was involved in in my year 1 include: post disaster management in Haiti, Underground tube carriage interior design themed passenger flow, Footbridge design that was led by Arup Group, and the design and construction of the new Secret Intelligence Service MI6 building. In the past projects, I have gained some experience of Geotechnics, report writing, design, and sketching. Besides that, I learned the importance of being a good team player, and also having good communication skills. I believe I am competent to bring values to a company like yours with my strengths which include, but are not limited to the following:

I also work very well under pressure which increases productivity of works. Being self-motivated, I often like taking challenges by learning new things and taking in different ideas and advice, as it gives cause of satisfaction that brings me further in career.
