As a possible accounting major working as the Budget Office Assistant would be a great opportunity to gain a valuable set of skills which I would not be able to obtain in the classroom. XXX, who is currently working at the Budget Office, suggested I apply for the position. I am a rapid learner and very much enjoy practical work.
Throughout high school and my gap year I was able to provide myself with a steady stream of income through the act of arbitraging collectible cards between the United States and Europe. This experience taught me the benefits of maintaining an organized and updated inventory as well as the importance of keeping track of payments.
I believe that due to my background as an international student and somewhat of an entrepreneur I would be well suited to work as Budget Office Assistant. Thank you very much for considering me for this position and I look forward to hearing from you.
