I am currently a third-year student at City University of Hong Kong in Business Economics major, who joined the dual-degree program from National Taiwan University. I was recently introduced to your firm via Uber’s Facebook recruit page, and I was impressed by Uber’s company culture while I negotiated with marketing team about the funding to Taiwanese Orientation Camp. I am interested in pursuing a part-time internship position at your firm, and have enclosed my resume and background information below.

I’m the event director of Taiwanese Student Association and I have recently completed organized Taiwanese Orientation Camp, which has 150 attendants and get $10000 HKD funding from Taipei Economics and Cultural Office. Through this experience holding a big event, I have gained the experience of how form a group and honed my negotiating skills. I also had the opportunity to interact with different companies to get event funding, which exposed me to various company culture.

Given my background as an international student and my negotiating skills learned in organizing the orientation camp, I am a particularly good fit for the part-time intern position at your firm. I am impressed by the significant responsibilities given to this intern, and I look forward to joining and contributing to your firm.
