Sample cover letter for Internship position at ubs

I completed a Bachelor of Economics and I am currently finishing my Master in Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen. Despite not having any German-speaking background, I managed to complete my bachelor studies within 3 years as any other German-speaking student.

I did an internship at UBS Investment Bank, where I was on the sell side of Sales Structured Products on Forex & Precious Metals with 3rd banks. 

During my academic studies, I have participated to several workshops at my University, which helped me to choose Investment Banking- Equity as the start of my banking career.

I am particularly attracted to work at UBS because of the firm’s reputation in the investment and private banking industry and its client focused approach. Furthermore, I was very pleased with my previous experience at UBS: I really enjoyed its working life and company culture.

I believe I will be an asset for UBS. I have experience in the as a Sales Assistant and senior support as well as project management. I am fluent in several languages and have advanced workplace skills in management, people development, analytical thinking and teamwork.

I also have a keen interest for the Equity markets and the brokerage business I think a GTP in the Equity Prime Services is the right place to start my career.
