I always had a fascination with numbers, and my degree helped to further this interest.

As a mathematician my highly developed skills of numeracy, including being thoroughly comfortable with numerate concepts and arguments in all stages of work will enable me to excel in my chosen department. I am very comfortable working with complex numbers and data. Furthermore, finance now a days have evolved from a service function to one that questions and guides the business to develop within the value­ creation framework. This role will provide opportunity to take on challenges and demonstrate my potential to deliver. Through joining a rotational program I’m excited to learn about different areas of business and deepen my knowledge on various aspects of banking.

My Corporate and Financial Risk Management course have provided me with strong background in the methodologies required for successfully analysing, synthesising important financial information and in preparing documentation to assist management when making critical business decisions. I am commercially aware and have strong interest in the banking and finance world.
