Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for the full time position of a Business Operational Associate at ZS Associates. Based on my research about the firm I am positive that ZS Associates will be a great fit for me and that with my background I can make an effective contribution in the firm’s growth and success. The firm’s focus on marketing and sales strategy, along with the analytical rigor and the qualitative research required has a strong appeal for me. I also learnt that in addition to empowering business consultants to manage teams, ZS Associates enables them to work on multiple projects which ensure the diversity in work. All the above mentioned aspects align very well with my career plans. In addition to my project experience, my exposure to Booth courses like marketing strategy, competitive strategy, applied regression and managerial decision modelling have helped me further build keen interest and acumen in this line of work. I would love the opportunity to work at a prestigious firm like ZS Associates.

I am currently pursuing my B.E degree from B.V Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli, Karnataka. I have done a project (Electric Solar Vehicle Championship) which was an ASIA level competition and in my view was a milestone for me. My role in team was Marketing Head where I had to deal with different companies for financial as well as technical sponsorship. In order to ensure the same, I have to extensively research over the customer needs and companies requirement. In addition, I have taken the added responsibility of team vice-captain where I worked on others divisions of my project. My experience as well as education has helped me understand the importance of data driven decisions to achieve goals. I enjoy working on diverse cases/projects and help the firm achieve highest quality results in terms of success.

Currently I am doing another project E-Baja (pronounced ba-ha) in which we will have to fabricate an Electric All-Terrain Vehicle. According to my interest in marketing and earlier experience I again choose marketing division in the team. These projects helped me in improving my communication skills, decision making ability and my overall personality.

Working for the firm which believes in creating and protecting value, would be a great place to build my career from a long term perspective. The opportunity to work in a congenial setting which caters to diverse cases and works in collaboration with cross border teams speaks volumes about the great environment at ZS Associates.
